Dogfight 2015

Green Valley Theatre Company is proud to present, Dogfight, the Musical! Dogfight tells the story of three best friends, Marines on their way to fight in Vietnam in November 1963. On their last night in San Francisco before shipping out, the friends live it up in the city and throw a traditional dogfight. All the guys have to bring a date to the party and the ugliest date wins that marine a wad of cash. One marine, Eddie Birdlace, meets Rose, a shy young lady who ends up teaching him about empathy, compassion and humanity. This beautiful musical is based on the 1991 film of the same name, starring River Phoenix as Eddie. The show features music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and a book by Peter Duchan. This is the Sacramento Community Theater premiere of this show, so you don't want to miss it!
